  New publication

  lionessR, an R package to model single-sample networks in R, is published in BMC Cancer. We included a vignette describing how to use the method to analyze network differences in cancer. Check it out on our publications and tools page.

  Poster prize for Hallvard Waehler

  Hallvard Waehler, who worked with us over the summer on gene regulatory network analysis in osteosarcoma, won a poster prize at the UiO:Life Science Science summer student symposium yesterday!

  New Bioconductor package

  Interested in modeling single sample networks in R? We made our lionessR package available on Bioconductor. It'll be released with the new Bioconductor version 3.10 on Oct 30: https://bioconductor.org/packages/lionessR.

  EMBL Partnership conference

  We had a great time attending the EMBL Partnership conference at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) in Barcelona. Tatiana and Ping-Han both presented a poster during the outdoor poster sessions.

  New group member

  We are very excited to announce that Tatiana Belova has joined the lab. Tatiana is a postdoctoral fellow and will be working on applications of network inference to model gene regulation in individual cancer patients.
