Two new publications
We have two new publications with first-author Kuijjerlab members, including a preprint and a peer-reviewed study.
- In work described in our BioRxiv preprint, Panos benchmarked 20 clustering approaches for single-sample regulatory networks, and investigated how they perform across different network representations. We found that SD-based clustering with k-means is robust and computationally feasibly even for clustering complete weighted networks. Importantly, and in line with our previous work, we also show that network-derived clusters capture clinical, biological, and prognostic associations in cancer complementary to those identified from gene expression alone.
- In a study in press in Bioinformatics, we present SiSaNA, a pipeline for network modeling and analysis from a Python-based command line interface Nolan.
