New group members
We are excited to welcome Ceren Pajanoja, who started her postdoctoral fellowship in the Helsinki group in September. Ceren obtained her PhD (2025) from the University of Helsinki, where she worked in Laura Kerosuo's group on transcriptional regulation in developmental biology. Ceren will be working on pan-cancer regulatory subtype detection with hierarchical VAE models. We are also happy to announce that Romana Pop has started a new position in the group as NCMBM/OUS postdoctoral fellow, co-supervised by Anita Sveen from Oslo University Hospital. Romana will be working on network analysis and multi-omics integration in colorectal cancer.
